COVID-19 anxiety and hygiene status in vocational schools of health services students in Turkey: A multicenter study

BACKGROUND: While the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic creates fear and anxiety on students’ academic achievement, risk of an infectious disease may negatively affect education by reducing concentration ability students. Thus, it is essential to evaluate knowledge, behaviors, levels, hygiene status OBJECTIVE: This study aimed investigate behavior change, anxiety, university students about COVID-19. METHODS: The investigation was conducted with three vocational schools health services located in different provinces Turkey (n = 1055). Data collected online survey consisted knowledge questions COVID-19, items scale (HBS), Generalized Anxiety Disorder 7 (GAD-7) scale. RESULTS: scores women were significantly higher than men. Of students, 59.6%showed positive 31.5%had anxiety. Female total HDC score lower that men, those who received hand participants did not receive training, which shows a behavior.
